Mind-Body-Spirit :: Fit4Mom Body Back
I love partnering up with local Mom-focused groups, and one of those is Fit4Mom Tri-Cities! FIT4MOM is the country’s largest fitness program for moms offering pre and post-natal fitness classes for every stage of motherhood. From their website, “Our WHY is to give women the strength for motherhood, at any stage of motherhood.”
Wanting to love on the Moms in our local group, I’ve dropped off little packages of foot soaking salts in the past. When I saw they were doing a program focusing on the mind, spirit, and body, I immediately felt the need to give the Moms some extra support. I did a bit of thinking an came up with a few ideas. The Moms who are participating in the Body Back program will receive a little goodie bag full of love from me, including mantra cards, tips for deepening their focus, and essential oil recommendations to enhance their practices, as well as a little roller with some oils that they can use before their workouts.
Body Mantra: I am disciplined and strong.
Tips for a healthy body: drink water, stay active, and progress over perfection.
Essential Oils to benefit the body: PanAway for joints and muscles. Lavender for soothing and calming. RC to invigorate. Peppermint to energize and cool down.
Mind Mantra: I am enough, I have enough, and I am doing enough. I accept myself and my life fully right now.
Tips for a healthy mind: read a book, journal, meditate, get active.
Essential Oils to benefit the mind: Peppermint for a clear head. Lavender for calming and relaxing. Lemon for clarity of thought and purpose. Orange for uplifting.
