5 Reasons to schedule a family portrait session
5 Reasons to schedule a family portrait sessionPhotos by Ashley Bateman Photography
1. You’ve hit a milestone, or rather, your child has
Every child has many milestones. A few of note that I personally believe should be captured on film, as a family: Maternity, newborn, sitting with smiles, 1st birthday. And occasionally some extra special sessions for Mother’s and Father’s day 🙂
2. Let’s face it, you need a new Facebook profile picture
Okay, maybe you don’t really need a new photo to use on social media, but how about the photos that are hanging on the wall? GASP, you have NO family photos on the wall?! Tsk tsk
3. It’s about time
If, perhaps, you have children who are a little bit older, and who aren’t changing so much month to month, it might be time to update family photos because of time. The days are long but the years are short.
4. Your family has been bugging you for new photos of little Johnny and Susan
Let’s face it, other people like seeing your face too 🙂 Grandma and Grandpa once had little bitty babies who are now grown up with babies of their own, but you’ll always be their itty bitty.
5. Your kids want photos of dear old Mom and Dad
I’ve shared quite a few photos of my family, taken with either my point and shoot camera or my DSLR camera but do you know what’s missing…. ME! Unless I hire a professional or hand over one of my cameras and cross my fingers, I will never be in any photos. My Son asked me today why photos were so important…… I asked him if when he’s older if he would want any photos of him and I together.
Agree! Love your selfie maternity progression pic!
perfectly put!
These are things every client needs to know!
Love seeing the progression! Very fun shots!
I love the time lapse of your pregnancy! And you are so right, there are many reasons to have portraits!
Great info!
I LOVE this so much!!
