Kennewick, WA Children’s Mini-Sessions
Every so often, I run a short marathon of mini-sessions. Sometimes there are themes, sometimes there is a specific category I photograph, sometimes it’s just a free-for-all. Early August of this year, I hosted some mini-sessions for kids! I realize that the first year, often through two year old, they change SO quickly, parents are more apt to photograph them, and photograph them often. After they hit two, things slow down a bit. Well, I take that back, the child himself doesn’t slow down a bit! 🙂 Sometimes, we want to document our kids as they are, without the investment in a full session with a professional photographer. SO, instead of letting my clients go somewhere like a chain studio, I offer mini-sessions so they can take advantage of my stellar photography skills at a reasonable, budget-friendly investment.
I had SIX families take advantage this time around, and they were all SO adorable!! These were also my first round of minis with my baby boy, so thank you to everyone who was patient if I had to step away, and if you got to hold my sweet boy so I could photograph your kids 😉
We had these two lovely ladies! Photographing ‘older’ children is always so different than the young ones. Most of the time, older ones wait for your direction, they don’t tend to dart off, making you chase them down with your camera, hoping for a decent photo 😉
Another set of Sisters! I’ve photographed these girls a couple times in the past, including little Sister’s newborn photos 🙂 And wouldn’t you know it, she’s going to become a Big Sister herself!
Now this little darling. Trinity, she’s a tough one 😉 I actually had to get her in front of my camera twice! Sometimes turning two can be a little intimidating…. and then you have to have some lady documenting it! 😉 Hahaha I’m glad she was able to come back fro round two though, because I did get some smiles out of her!
Another set of Sisters!! Girls are so adorable, don’tcha think?? 🙂 And I love their outfits! I hope I get another chance to photograph them, as I’m sure with a little bit more time I could coax their big smiles out 😉
Another sibling set, this time Brother & Sister! With these two, I got the wide array of expressions 🙂 The photo of them together, they were investigating a roly poly, as most kids do 😉
And our final family! Momma of this crew has been in front of my camera before, for a GLAM session (which I really really really hope to start offering again)! It was nice to see her back, with her three adorable kiddos.
And that wraps up these mini-sessions! Be sure to like my Facebook page and sign up for emails from me to be on the lookout for the next round!
love them! I bet the families do too!
Great Job!
Amazing images 🙂
Love all these smiles!
