Monthly Wellness Box : September 2017
So our monthly wellness box for September arrived last week! I usually do a live video on my personal Facebook page so I can share with my friends what sort of goodies I get.
If you prefer to watch or listen to videos, you can check it out here:
Why do we get a box from Young Living every month? Because it’s an easy way to get toxic-free products into our home, as well as qualify me for commissions (bonus yay!!).
So let’s talk a little bit about the products we got in September:
Active & Fit Kit: This is a kit of products, including five oils, the Cool Azul sports gel, AND the carrying case! Now, the main reason I bought this kit is because I needed to replenish a couple of the oils that are in it, and when I came across the kit, I said “Heck yeah!” The oils included: Thieves, Copaiba, Deep Relief, R.C., and Peppermint. What do we use those for? Thieves: immune support and cinnamon/clove fragrance in the diffuser. Copaiba: all over wellness support, google beta-caryophyllene 🙂 Deep Relief is new to me, and I LOVE it! I’ve been using it on my neck when it’s feeling a bit stiff, and on my wrists when I’ve been on the computer a lot. R.C. we use for respiratory support. Peppermint we use a LOT: baking goodies, adding to water for digestive support and flavor, in the diffuser for refreshing and invigorating scent, and in our seasonal support trio (with Lemon and Lavender). The Cool Azul sports gel is also new to us, and I’ve been using it like Deep Relief. I think if I worked out more, I’d use it more on my muscles 🙂
Thieves Laundry Soap: Go ahead, research some of the chemicals that are in YOUR laundry soap. This is one of the first ‘ditch-and-switch’ items we did, because I felt really convicted that laundry is a major cause of air pollution, and it literally touches our skin 24/7/365. Our laundry soap doesn’t include certain chemicals that reflect blue light, so your whites might not be SUPER white, but personally, I am okay with that because I know there aren’t harmful chemicals lingering on our clothes, just to make them ‘appear’ cleaner. They’re actually CLEAN.
KidScents Toothpaste: Gentle toothpaste, with a citrus flavor, WITHOUT fluoride, dyes, synthetic colors, artificial flavors, or preservatives. Oh, and it’s adorable! 🙂
Peppermint: for my Momma. She loves it in her coffee.
WHAT WAS FREE??
Well, if you didn’t know, Young Living loves to reward their members. Every month, they have different free products at certain tiers: 100, 190, 250, & 300. Want to know more about the free stuff?? I’d love to tell you!
My order was at the 100PV tier, so I earned one freebie with the monthly promos (on Essential Rewards only!)!
Oregano: So pictured is the white labeled Oregano (5ml). We also have the 15ml size with the solid colored label. THEY ARE THE SAME QUALITY OF OIL, one has to be labeled as internal use, and the other as topical/aromatic use. Oregano is mostly known as an herb that you cook with, and you can substitute our essential oil for fresh/dried herbs if you wanted too. Just remember, it’s concentrated, especially compared to fresh/dry herbs, so many people will simply dip a toothpick in Oregano essential oil, then swirl it in their dish. We’ve used it for soup and it was delish! However, Oregano is also a powerful overall wellness oil, so we use it in our immunity roller bottle blend!
Loyalty Blend: The last item pictured, with the beautiful purple sachet bag is the Loyalty Essential Oil blend from Young Living. The only way you can receive this blend is by being enrolled in YL’s Essential Rewards (ER) program, our monthly member loyalty ordering program. Young Living’s founder, Gary Young, wants to love on his members and one way he has decided to do this was in rewarding members who have been on ER for a full year with this beautiful blend!
If you’re ready to switch out to some natural, plant based products so you can ditch those nasty toxins, let’s chat! If you want to learn how you too can earn freebies, I can tell you the details!
